Name Brand Makeup From The Dollar Store!?

Hey guys so I have been finding some AMAZING name brand makeup at my dollar stores. For those of you who already watch my YouTube videos you know how I am always finding great deals at my dollar stores, but this week they truly out did themselves.They had Covergirl, L'oreal, Maybelline, Revlon, and Milani products just to name a few. I was truly in heaven getting makeup for such a dirt cheap price.....I am sharing my video I posted of the haul down below, but I will be back with picture and swatches in the next few days......

The Comeback

Hey guys,

I have been away from blogging for quite a few months and during that time I did move to a new site; I ultimately decided to move back here after having some issues with that site. Unfortunately however I lost all my post that I created over there.....smh.....so I am going to start over here but I will be leaving up all my old post.....(ah memories). Some of you may know that I also now (for the past few months actually)  have a YouTube channel (and if you didn't definitely check me out over there #shamelessplug). I am super excited to get back to blogging as I really need somewhere else to express all this creative I have....and sometimes it is not feasible to make a video (and I would just rather take photos sometimes). Now let me give a quick rundown of what's been going on in my life.......

I decided to go on a sabbatical....yes I quit my extra stressful job and decided to start doing more of what I love (the goal being to start my own business). It is the best decision I have made thus far. To wake up in the morning and not be stressed out weighs any small salary. The skies the limit with where I can go on this new journey in my life and I'm sure it's gonna to be the most wonderful ride of my life.... it's time to start living life to the fullest.


I went natural. I did the big chop, yep sure did and although I still wear protective styles as I am still trying to figure out what works for my hair and what doesn't (and it's still in the "short" stage where I can't do much with it although I can make two small puff balls haha). I am going to be honest there are times I want to just relax my hair especially when it is being unruly (like last night ugh). But it is so thick and full ( not that my hair wasn't before) that I am holding on strong until I can determine for sure if this is right for me.

 I finally started dating someone with some sense (umm sometimes lol....oh and this may be an over share but oh well) I met someone who I think is absolutely amazing. Y'all don't even want to know how many years I've been single and dateless lmao single like Kraft cheese I tell ya. The struggle was all to real, but to meet someone who is on the same wave length as you is for a lack of better words (I wish I had one to truly express it) an incredible feeling.


Well guys I hope you all are enjoying your day....it was raining here earlier but now the sun is out and shining and ugh bringing the heat....is anyone else ready for fall to take full effect?

Bronze Medal

I like to sometimes step out of the box and wear something I might not usual wear together, that's why fashion is awesome you can wear things however you want in whatever form you want. I could care less about what people think and of course whatever I do put together may not always be everyone's cup of tea and that's OK as well. I had to grab my camera and snap a few pics before dinner. It has definitely been a long day and I was the first thing smoking from work today lol I was a little bit beyond ready to GO.........Happy to be home and some chicken Alfredo is on the menu

Sky's The Limit

I usually have a somewhat stressful day at work especially with it being summer. Now while today was a bit better and less of headache I still had a little bit of an aggravating mid-morning. But all is well and I found this little near my house that I had NO idea was even there! nice little park with a lake where you can go fishing and boating! I was like how cool is this and why have I lived near this spot for 2 years and didn't know it was even here! Shameful really but in my defense it is nestled away out of site. You don't know it but I standing on a bridge that has an observation tower over a very large "pond" kinda freaked me out for a second. I braved it and even climbed the tower although I refused to go further than the second level. I'm also happy I brought a change of clothes because I decided to use this opportunity to hike the 95 acres and get some exercise in.....The weather was actually quite and my sky print tie dye shirt was prefect.

Feeling Grey

Sunday Funday off to the park with the kids where they have a nice spray yard to splash in. My son had been asking me all week if we could go. He was beyond excited that we went today and the weather wasn't half bad either although with  left late afternoon which was plus in my book. I broke out this cute grey maxi dress that I actually thrifted just Saturday that was prefect for the park and the weather. Of course I had to add some color it with a cute floral necklace and my candycolored jellybag.........I am also really loving my hair color it was a bit longer but I started cutting it smh it may be a bob this time next if I don't change again first.

Casual Days

Kept it simple yet slightly chic with a cute peplum top and sandals......and the pants extra comfortable and roomy. I was just off to work and then run a few errands nothing major really. Summer is really starting to hit it is super hot out now smh..... and on other my daughter will be graduating from the 5th grade geez the years are flyng by.....
